Voice-powered workflow platform for service businesses.
PRODUCT CASE STUDY
Speak naturally.
Paperwork happens.
CrewClerks · Voice-powered back office for service businesses
CrewClerks is a voice-first workflow platform designed for service businesses. It turns natural spoken or typed job updates into organized business actions such as customer and job records, scheduling, labor, materials, reminders, billing records, proposals, paperwork, and translated communication.
AT A GLANCE
A product built around the work, not the form.
Contractors, home-service companies, field teams, and owner-operators.
Turn one natural-language update into organized business actions.
Speak once → organize → review → approve → complete the work.
AI-assisted workflow organization with human approval before consequential actions.
Working development prototype with the controlled-beta foundation in development.
THE PROBLEM
Real work does not arrive neatly formatted.
Service professionals work while moving between customers, job sites, vehicles, phone calls, materials, schedules, and paperwork. Details end up in memory, text messages, photos, handwritten notes, and disconnected systems. Measurements can be forgotten, materials underbilled, callbacks missed, and estimates or invoices delayed.
THE SOLUTION
Capture once. Structure the rest.
CrewClerks captures a spoken or typed update once, identifies the customer and exact job, separates the update into structured work items, asks only for essential missing information, and presents one organized review before anything consequential is finalized.
HOW THE WORKFLOW WORKS
One update. Four clear stages.
Tap a stage to see what CrewClerks is doing behind the interface.
Say what happened without choosing a form first.
Voice, typed input, photos, measurements, labor, materials, schedule details, and reminders can begin as one natural update.

Speak
Natural-language capture for mixed field updates.
The user can begin with the work itself instead of hunting through menus and document types.
PRODUCT CAPABILITY
What CrewClerks is designed to handle.
Capture real work without stopping to navigate a form.
Find the right destination before creating records.
Break one mixed update into distinct business actions.
Ask short questions only when essential information is missing.
Keep consequential actions behind deliberate approval.
Turn scope, measurements, labor, materials, and terms into structured proposals.
Prepare invoices, estimates, service reports, and accounting output.
Translate spoken commitments into trackable follow-up work.
Keep approved activity attached to the right customer and job.
Support English/Spanish workflows and two-way interpreting.
Separate owner, manager, crew, and billing authority.
Build toward company-separated customer and job data.
WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
Not dictation.
Not transcription.
Operational workflow.
Identify who the information belongs to and which job it concerns before classifying the work.
One natural update can become notes, labor, materials, schedule items, reminders, and billing drafts.
AI can organize and draft, but the user reviews consequential actions before they are finalized.
The product starts with how people actually communicate while performing work, not with a generic AI chat window.
MY ROLE
Product direction grounded in operations.
As product owner, I led the product concept, workflow direction, requirements thinking, operational framing, UX direction, feature prioritization, and iterative refinement of CrewClerks. The project reflects the way I approach AI: understand the real workflow first, then design the technology around the people doing the work.
Development has been AI-assisted. My contribution is best described as product and systems leadership rather than claiming traditional full-stack software engineering.
CURRENT STATUS
Working prototype in active development.
The current checkpoint is a development prototype rather than a public production beta. The next product milestone is secure company separation, authentication, roles, usage controls, and protected private workspaces.
WHY IT BELONGS IN THIS PORTFOLIO
Operations experience translated into product design.
CrewClerks demonstrates how I connect operations thinking, workflow design, technical direction, customer reality, and modern AI tools. It is the bridge between decades of practical technology and operations experience and the newer AI-assisted product and automation work I am building now.
